The Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

St Andrew-by-the-Wardrobe congratulates Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on reaching her Diamond Jubilee.

The national celebrations to mark the Queen’s 60 years of service and dedication to Britain and the Commonwealth will centre around an extended weekend in 2012 on 2, 3, 4 and 5 June, with events such as the Epsom Derby; a BBC Concert in Buckingham Palace; a Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral; and the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant, which will present the largest flotilla ever assembled on the River Thames. One of the barges will be a floating belfry of eight new bells for our sister church of St James Garlickhythe.
